Laser thickness gauges for on-line application

The system consists of:

• Rugged C Frame enclosing sensors and cables.

• Linear stage driven by servo motor.

• Calibration fixture with sample holder.

• Controller for sensors and motor.

• Computer for data display and storage

Features:

• Accuracy from 0.5 microns to 10 microns

• Scan distance up to 700 mm

• Narrow C frame. Only 50 mm wide.

• Data displayed in X/Y format and waterfall in the downweb direction

• Automatic self calibration feature.

• Measure almost any material:

Steel, Aluminum, Polymer film, Battery electrodes, Rubber ,Plastic parts, Aluminium strip, copper strip and sheet.

The system is provided as a turn-key solution. Simply mount the unit on the line  apply power and begin measuring.

Setting up scan distances and speeds is done on the monitoring computer by means of an easy to use menu system.

All the measurements are stored on the monitoring computer. These can be exported to other applications or linked to a network
